I'd rent it first..... It all depends on your personal preferance. Personally, i'd wait until 2005 comes out. Rent it first. That way you can tell if you like the game. Dont listen to other posters around here, some of them are Die Hard Fanboys for both PES and Fifa. You have to choose yourself. I think the Fifa series is worth checking out. Just wait until 2005 comes out though.....

i bought FIFA2004 the first day it came out, it was on the shelf alongside FIFA2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 a week later
i bought PES3 about two months ago, and the DVD has been inside the drive 90% of the time, i can't be bothered taking it out, because i play it everyday for an hour or more, that's addiction (by the way, i scored my first bicycle kick today with nistelrooy, sweestest feeling ever!
