Is it possible that im having problems with these specs in PES 4?:

Pentium 4
Processor: 2 GHz
512 mb ddr ram
Graphic card: Nvidia GeForce 4 TI 4200 64 mb
My monitor is a LCD screen (13 ms)
Winblows xp

I want to run the game with high quality+the best or second best resolution...

So the question is do i have to buy another graphic like a radeon 9800 card? Is anybody experiencing problems with this graphic card...

PES 4 is really good...but if ur game doesnt run smooth it doesnt matter if the game is good or not...

don't need to oc...i think ur pc can get a nice performance and speed at PES4 according to the official's recommanded requirement.
the difference between high detail and medium is the Anisotropic Filtering,it seems that the application's AF doesn't work well, you can just try your driver's AF instead, just set detail medium and open 2x AF.At least my 9800se performances perfect at 800x600,medium detail and 2x af,it even looks nicer than 1024x768,high detail!

Dude, think you can run the game smoothly, without any problems...

I'm on a XP1800+ and Ti4800SE and the game runs fine on 1024x768 high details. Just upload your Detonator to 66.93 or better.....

I experience a few slowdowns when the camera rotate, that is, while not playing ;)

I have:
Pentium 4 Prescott 2.9Ghz
512 Samsung DDR
MSI GeForce FX 5600 128Mb
Windows XP SP1
DirectX 9.0c
ForceWare 66.93

And my results in PES4:
1024x768, High - 35-40 FPS
1024x768, Medium - 60 FPS (with AF 2x - 50-55 FPS)
800x600, High - 35-40 FPS
800x600, Medium - 60 FPS (with AF 2x - 50-55 FPS)

What can I do? :(
I can't play on Medium (without AF) and Low quality! And I can play only on 60FPS :) In PES3 i have 60FPS on 1024x768 and High quality.

I tryed to overclock my video with RivaTuner to the max supported values (when system don't crash and direct3d application works fine :)) and this didn't help, game runs as usual :(
WTF?

Hey Breez, think there's not much you can do, since you own a FX 5600 not ultra.... It's speed is lower than mine as far as i know, and your benchs are not that bad!! ;)

The game needs to be locked at 60fps.
Force v-sync and set your desktop refresh rate to 60hz
The game frame rate has nothing to do with the refresh rate...
but if you want the game looked smooth, you'd better set the refresh rate at 60Hz or 120Hz...
and opening v-snyc is good method to solve the waving screening problem

hey that's right when playing the game ,... the game looks just fine.... but anyone have got this problem when the cutscene arise (fouls, player arguing) the framerate is decreased when use 1024*768 high or 800*600 high but at this both resolution with the medium quality the framerate is still at 60fps which is good.

Another thing ... for 120hz I still get smooth 60fps but the problem is there is some blurr motion when the ball is moving I mean when the ball has been passed by the player and the camera will pan then the blurr motion arise ....... for the 60hz I still got problem when the ball is passed the blurr motion disappear but the stuttering occured instead.. WTF It seems like you have to chose what problem is suit you.

And by the way I didn't see anything differences between high and medium quality.

My spec P4 1.7ghz RDRAM 512 GFTI 4400 Audigy sound card.

Hey Rustu, try changing the game resolution to 1024/high and install the 66.93 forceware.... Change the default frequency of 1024x768 to 85Hz and see if that works...
