I've been playing an extended game just to try out a few things, people saying that there game crashed when a penalty was given or one of the players got a red card! Well I just went through a 10min game there and I gave away a penalty just to see if my system crashed? Well it didn't, nor did it crash when I got one of my players sent off ( I had to dive in from the back several times and I would either not get booked or after a while just get a yellow) anyway bottom line the game never crashed.

But onto my Title of this post Hard To Miss! I have found with the top strikers and midfielders like (kaka) and even the pitbull Guttuso, I could score goals at ease from 25 to 30yrds out! Just a tab of the button and the power bar at times not even reaching halfway, they fired off "bobby Carlos" rocket shots that zoomed into the back of the net! Great to look at just to easy to score with, and when you do get a player into the 18yrd box, unless you press the button to hard and fill the shot power bar , you are not going to miss!

Its hard to discribe , I feel nothing when playing this game, no sense of achievement scoring a 25yrd'er that screams into the top corner, it feels lifeless, no soul.

This as I have said before is not a them v us thing, its a true and honest opinion of what I feel or more to the point Don't feel while playing this game.

Its a shame , because I want the "Next" game to come out to be the best footballing experience you can get and I don't care if that comes from EA Konami or whoever as long as its better and more advanced than the last game I bought! I am no fanboy ... of any company or game ..

But sadly, FIFA06 does not do it for me !

i agree with you mightytic, but ea has a new developer team that is Japanese. And you can see the results already. It less of an action game now. But still not what i like. This is their first release with the new team. So lets hope they will make fifa07 better, with realistic ball fysics. I think with that alone it will be a game with "feeling".

Don't play in semi pro !


So I went to PRO , and same game Man Utd v AC Milan .. 10min game I was 2-0 down in the 1st 3 minsof the game from 2 corners! But once I got used the this more attacking and when not on the ball, defensive team! I still scored my shevi 25yrd'er in off the post.. the game ended 3-2 to ManU and even there players Keane included were shooting from well outside the box!

Putting up the CPU's AI ( from semi-pro to pro) does make the cpu team play and score and in truth have far to many pot shots at goal, but the same still applies (if less frequent at the highest levels) you can still score from 25 to 30yrds out ! The only difference is that putting up the AI for the CPU team means THEY do it more offten as well (that's shoot from well outside the box) and make it a bit harder for you , put a player in that position 25yrds out and you'll still score as I did ... 5 times in semi-pro game and 2 times in the Pro game..

There is a "built in" tendency to shoot on goal from outside the box the higher you put the CPU's AI level the more they do it , and as I have found I can score at ease from this distance.. Against the higher level cpu team, its just that little bit harder to get there but you can still do it time and time again... you maybe loss more goals to the cpu but that will not stop you scoring this type of shot .. As I said I even scored 1 with Guttuso ... and in the pro game keane was firing in shots that my keeper was palming down or round...

In PES i score from 40 yards, pretty unrealistic... i have tons of goals that away and i don't see people complaining, in FIFA i've just saw great goals till now, in PES keepers act dumb and you see shots from the ****ty Castolo went in from an huge distance...

About FIFA, play in World Class and this influencies the keeper and the AI hardly gives you spaces, and i would like to see one of your shots from outside the box... record with fraps...

And i wasted mine triying to understand what you're doing on this Forum... Mighty was comparing FIFA to PES and i mentioned the long range distance as an example of why he complain about that in FIFA when his favourite game is even worst on that field... ?!

Well, here I have to comment using your favourite phrase - you were playing on 4 stars or lower difficulty. :ewan:
On 6* it's ever so difficult to even get a clear shot on goal not even talking about scoring (dunno about We9).
Tons of 40yarders? Riiiiiight...

And this easy long range scoring is a big problem in we9 as well,and one of the reasons one well known pes/we fans/patchmakers went back to fifa.

I have friends in various cities, some people love me, some people hate me, just like normal people, i study and guess what i even appear in FIFA credits... :)
