This thread is basically for all chinese or those celebrating lunar new year..it's nearing and i thought we should have a thread to chat on what we are gonna do on that day..i'm going to visit my relatives and collect lots of red packets..:p

Anyway, I'm assuming that Chinese lunar new year is on a different date, because Korean lunar new year is still three weeks away. :confused:

And yeah, I thought Chinese New Year was sometime around the 10th of February this year :confused:

Exactly. One thing I dislike about it though - my parents give red packets to out of the blue people :kader: GIVE IT TO ME DAMMIT!

my elementary school teacher was chinese and we celebrated this with a chopstick relay...and i got red packets:D
