I was in Montreal on Canada Day. Several observations:
1. It was absolutely impossible to tell that there was any kind of national holiday going on.
2. In their defense, the French Canadians aren't nearly as repulsive as I had imagined. They seemed almost human.
3. Apart from the French-language signs and roadside strip clubs, Quebec looks almost indistinguishable from Minnesota or Wisconsin.
4. French-Canadian women are pretty hot.
5. I spoke with a lot of Bulgarian and Polish immigrants; not one of them had anything nice to say about the Francophones.
6. I find it amusing that the Francophones expect immigrants to integrate themselves into Quebecois culture, when they themselves refuse to integrate into Canadian society.

I can NOT see myself making the trip to Montreal....I've heard good things about the Biodome but, other than that, I don't see any reason for me to want to visit that city.
