hey hagi,

if you assign a specific kit number to a team for a tournament, you don't need to make specific lua assignment for that team. just make seperate rx3 files and its done.

i figured that out after our last conversation.

Isn't it necessary to use a "--" when you are adding a notation (ie GK purple)? I know that you have to comment out in other scripting languages, but I'm not sure about .lua.

I'm using a different statements for some teams which are playing a league with an official kitnumber and font. Like BPL, FL Champ, FL ONE, FL TWO.
And those teams will use league kitnumber and font when playing the league match. But they will use their own unique kitnumber and font when playing other matches not just UCL/UEL. The game can be showed their own unique kitnumber and font even in friendly match.

For example, I'm using my 15/16 Man Utd lua statements below and I add a note after each of one statement.

Man Utd will use BPL kitnumber when they are playing in the league and the short number is black or white. But in the other games e.g. FA CUP/LEAGUE CUP/UCL/UEL/UEFA SUPER CUP/friendly, they will use their own unique number and the short number is red or white.
It means I will only place a specifickitnumbers_11_0_0_*.rx3 and specifickitnumbers_0_0_13_*.rx3 in the \data\sceneassets\kitnumbers folder.
No need to add specifickitnumbers_11_0_233_*.rx3 or specifickitnumbers_11_0_224_*.rx3 or specifickitnumbers_11_0_201_*.rx3 etc.

While we are on the topic of statements, I have downloaded & applied Hagi's PSG HD kits and kitnumbers. Now I have a fair understanding of the statements & according to the statements I post below as provided in the kitpack, when playing in PSG's third kit, it should have a pink playername & pink League1 kitnumber when playing friendlies / League 1; as well as PSG's own unique pink kitnumber when playing in CL?

But when I play friendlies or CL the third kit has white playername & white kitnumbers which looks like the default SD League1. Another thing I've notice is that the GK kit doesn't change and only the Yellow GK kit gets used... So I don't know if this is only a "bug" for PSG's lua file because other team's statements work correctly that I've assigned.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

Yes, you are right. I saw the problem with the GK kits too.
I have no ideas why they don't change, because the assignment seems to be correct. Couldn't find a solution yet.

the statement for the alternate gk works randomly in the game
if you can be sure they will be used in the game you need to set the specific gk kit to an specific kit (for example the away gk with the away kit) or the away gk to use only against let's say monaco when playing home or away

it's a bit more complicated
but the way the lua is here, the game just pick it randomly
