Actually, it was a suspended sentence, so therefore, he won't have to wear the oranje of the Dutch prison system.

lol nah. I hope the best for him though. (besides i think it was HIS retribution since he always said that the 88 intercontinental loss was the most heart breaking of his career (PSV-Nacional)

But he better watch out, soap can get MIIIIGHTY slipery :p

I do not fear England. It wouldn't surprise me if they don't even finish 3rd in that group behind your lot, Israel, and Russia, in that order. In fact, it would be great to have a tournament without English fans bitching about how sh*te their team is 24/7.

Israel is the kind of pain in the ass team that probably won't qualify but will take valuable points away from the favourites, so you never know. England has experience though, I'm sure they'll qualify in the end one way or another..

That's where I read it from. I might be wrong, but I don't think a conditional prison sentece is the same thing as house arrest. Either way, he won't do time in prison, and besides the fine he'll likely have to perform some sort of comunity service. That's about it. Maybe Avalanche can explain it to us.

No, it's a suspended sentence. If he ever gets caught again for the same kind of offence he'll just get these 6 months added to the sentence for that one.
