The red card on Mastroeni was complete bull****. It isn't even close to the vicious, obvious, straight red that that renowned dirty bastard Di Rossi got. So every late tackle is a red now? The game's going to end with 3 on 4 then. What crap. Oh well, we're playing so well right now I don't even know what to say; I've gone through every emotion that I have and it's only halftime.

And by the way, Deuce (Clint Dempsey) is going to make a move overseas in the next year. He is just too good to not play in one of the best leagues in the world; honestly I think he could be our best player.

Too many foul calls. There haven't been that many actual fouls. If you're going to call a game like that, the Italians will win every time since they're such diving dirty pricks.

It´s a fair analysis but i still think that he should been smarter. Run you know how the refs are when they make calls against bigger teams, he would just wait for any questionable play to even the score and that reckless challenge was the excuse he needed. He should have used his head and adjusted his game to the new circunstancies. A more cautious approach is the best solution in these situations.

Actually a lot of us Americans do. Or are you forgettin that we are a mix of races from all over the world??? If this game ends in a draw. All teams still have a chance to qualify

US-1

So a draw wouldnt mean the end of the world, but it would mean the Czechs have to lose to italy and the US must beat Ghana. Since the Czechs beat us that means we cant finish even on points.


EDIT- the ref messed up the game. he is clearly favoring Italy now.
