Group B - Sweden vs. Paraguay [P+R]

Hey Ive got a right to my own opinion.

of course you have, congratulations (even if i think this game was much,much better then the england game)

Sweden has been disappointing. A lot different from the team they were 2 years ago.

Man, Swedish finishing was terrible! Do they have any strikers at all? The only good finish I can remember of was the goal from Ljungberg. The victory was not undeserved at all, though because:

1. Paraguay attack was not much better anyway...
2. There was a bad offside call vs Sweden that stopped one of their forwards from going 1v1 on Bobadilla (I really doubt he would score though :/)

The march was far below my expectations. At some point I hoped both teams lost their places to T&T, but that's not gonna happen, unless Sweden loses 3-0 against England...

...Ah, England, that won't happen too. BTW, Sweden - England will most likely be a terrible match if Equador draws Germany and get the 1st spot on group A. What a group this one :boohoo:

agree our attackers arent very good...not ibra anyway!he shouldnt play from start! i also agree with the group,talk about boring games :boohoo:

Sorry to see Paraguay out. They fought all the way, but Sweden proved to be too much for them.

To go out the way Paraguay did is awful... an own goal in their opening match, losing their starter GK (though Bobadilla did a good job) and a goal in the dying minutes against Sweden...

We had the game all the time. It was about 15 minutes that Paraguay had some pressure.
England and Sweden in the next round and we'll meet in semi final where we will win !

I was happy Sweden won. I like Larsson and Freddie so it's alright.

I can't see them beating Germany or Ecudor though. Saying that on our performance I can't see England either...

The first 10 minutes was entertaining of this match, after that the match got more and more boring. Paraguay shoting as quickly as they entered Swedens half, and Sweden had very uncreative play, though, Sweden was the best team, and a deserved win in my opinion....

Sweden is unbeaten by England for 11 straight games, the have not beaten us since the 60's (68 I think).

Man what a pity i wanted Paraguay to go throught, probably it's well deserved for Sweden maybe because they got the most clear chances, but anyway i don't think they deserved more than the 1-0, at least this was a good game to watch.

I didn't get to watch the match but got the highlights and it looked like Paraguay wasn't as bad as some people say, Valdez was quite into the match giving the Swedish defense some trouble....
I was also impressed by Bobadilla, seems to be a damn good keeper judging by his performance in both matches. that save off Ljungberg's shot was top drawer stuff.

Allback became important in the end but that lob he tried to pull saved by Caniza was a piece of garbage finishing, he didn't even hit the ball right I would like to see Rosenberg being given a chance to show what he can do.

I dig Sweden so I was happy they won, but you gotta show respect for Paraguay..after all they only lost 1-0 to theorically much better NTs.

I just don't get it... and i'm a very impatient guy... when a game goes boring, i quit seeing it instantly... but, this game got my attention for the entire 90 minutes! I wasn't bored at all; on the contrary... why do you say this was a boring match?!
