Ronaldo was unlucky with his free kick, hit the post. I have doubts about that disallowed goal, still Portugal is doing a good game so far.

The turks are defending and looking for the counter, our players must be carefull with that.

Bosingwa is really showing why he's one of the best RBs, Deco passing has been amazing so far and Ronaldo needs to pass more often.

We need to attack more on the 2nd half and still be carefull with the counters at the same time.

Pretty poor first half in scoring chances, only one shot on target if we don't count the goal scored from offside. :sleep:

Deserved victory and solid performance overall. Turkey can consider themselves lucky, those 2 balls to the post, one to the bar...

Moutinho did a great match and equally great job on the second goal, a player to watch througout the tournament.

Oh and what about that nasty tackle from Aurelio on Nani, the ref doesn't even signal the foul. In the replay you could clearly see the boots' mark on Nani's leg 8|

well done portugal...Ronaldo had a decent to poor game IMO, did just enough for his team; however he is "The best in the world" so he should have done more..I was really impressed with Bosingwa and Pepe..both had tremendous games...

ps. I still think Messi is better than Ronaldo at this point...too bad injuries keep putting him on the shelve

that tackle on Nani was a potential leg breaker, the ref couldn't have had a good view because that was red card worthy IMO.

Well-deserved win for the Portuguese, the Turks simply didn't dare enough to equalise after Pepe's goal. It's like every time they were attacking I'd see 4-5 Turks on the attack, and atleast 6 Portuguese in defence. (N)

Can't wait for tomorrow. :)

I'm still not entirely convinced as to where Portugal's goals are going to come from, although they did get more (2) than what I was expecting (1). Your goalscorers have to score goals and they will only truly be tested against the Czechs.

I was quite surprised that Turkey couldn't do much.....and they couldn't do much. TWO WORDS: H A K A N S U K U R. I still cannot believe that the coach would leave out the top scorer from qualifying...

Well no surprises i'd say. Portugal was expected to win in a tight game. The 2nd goal was just a good break-away and a great turn by Moutinho. Portugal has a superb defense (average keeper though), great midfield, but their forwards are just plain horrible. For a country with such flashy players, nobody can play upfront? This is what i think we'll haunt them down in this EURO campaign. Ronaldo will get tired by the time playoff rounds come around and then they will be REALLY lacking firepower upfront. The fact that 2 defenders scored today is no surprise.




Pepe is a ******* monster though, man of the match for me. He had 2 dives, but apart from that he was awesome. I can see why Real Madrid paid 30 million for him, he is an absolute tower out there.

Turkey were really disserpointing. Tuncay had one of the worst games i have ever seen a player have.

i think tuncays bad play spead amoungst the team thought, they stared better but everythin they tried attackingwise was ruined by tuncay

this annoys me boro have ruined another promising career
