Stupidity on both sides, without a doubt. Hopefully this won't happen when Greece play Turkey. Just pathetic, all this chaos for a soccer game.

i doubt it was just cause of the game. Alot of ppl place too much blame on that. I bet that 90% was just cause those Greeks actually had it in for the albanians and just dont like other guys. They met in the streets (already pissed cause of the game) and the Albanians prob said something like "Hey you stupid ass greek....etc etc"
One thing led to another and boom,......brawl.....which leads to caos.
Trust me...I saw a brawl once when I was in Montreal (MANY years ago....around 94). It was Greece vs. (i think) Turkey......and there was such a fight. My dad (who was waiting for Uruguay/Venezuela) ran off with me. The whole fight started cause the Turks were dissing the Greeks before the game even began.
Then it didnt take long for the anti (retarted) part of the canadian papers to say "SOCCER CAUSES FIGHT IN BAR!"....when it was all about policitcs and just mutual dislike for the others.
(oh my dad managed to hide me <they had banned kids to enter after the fight> and see the Uruguay Game anyways <he couldnt miss it>...lol.
Dont know if it was the case here....but all "Soccer" has to do with many of the fan fights are just the briging of the two nations together.....they do the rest.
EDIT: Just read all the replies.......Man. Its really horrible what happened. Hope it never happens again. (poor kid that got stabbed)
