Hey, I just played a few good matches against - a mate of mine.
And aye it does run very smoothly, for both the host and the player who joined. But that's just until one have a Goal kick, free kick or corner kick. Then the played that joined the host will get some weird lag while the shot is being taking. But it will disappear after that.
That's what I noticed after 3 matches.
1# - Real Madrid vs. Chelsea (0 - 0) ET (1-1)
My mate was the host and it was my first game.
Connection: 1Mbit/256Kbit
2# - Manchester United vs. Arsenal (3 - 2)
3# - Manchester United vs. Arsenal (0 - 1)
I was the host for those two matches.
2Mbit/512Kbit
And I did ask my mate if he noticed the lag while GK, FK etc...
He said he did notice some lag while them being taking.
But don't be mistaking by my words, it was great fun and all
But a patch to fix some of the issues would be awesome.
EDIT: Thought I might as well add this.
One thing I don't like about the online play besides the small amount of lag of
is that even though you put the player control on manual, sometimes it will switch to another player for you.
But I'm thinking that what i picked in "singleplayer" doesn't count in multiplayer or so it seems.
Perhaps that's why it's on (Auto Control) or at least somewhat.
Let's say I'm chasing after beckham to get the ball, the ai might just switch to another player so you kinda lose oversight and then perhaps backs gets a free chance etc.
That actually did happen a few times against my mate.
