I was absolutely dusgusted at the poor attempt to make a football sim this year from the now infamous EA sports, what *is* going on here. Not only does the gameply not match that in anyway to the PES series, but now i'd say the animation and graphics are just as poor a comparison. EA really need to buck up their ideas if people are going to buy this awful escuse for a game year after year, which of course would cost them a great deal of money.

I really think there is no need to comparison between pes and fifa because it's two different games from two different game maker's!
I play both games and can see the positive and the negative things on both games.
why is that you "have" to like fifa and not pes or like pes and hate fifa?

I think it's for the exact same reason some people only like their football club and profoundly hate another or all other football clubs (depending on their ammount of testosteron or the hormone level in their body)
They identify with their club colours, the players are their gladiators and mercenaries,just like in a war really, the bad guys wear and worship the other colour, the club logo is their symbol and the club colours their banner, same goes with some people when it comes to brands, cars, gaming systems, football games, ect ect...
Although some people can't be cured, this behaviour often softens and eventualy dissapears completely as the patient ages
I have myself as an example.Ten years ago I couldn't even think of Juventus and Inter without getting a nausea, now I watch whole games of them on TV and I make even soundpacks for them

I have far more FIFAs than PES in fact i only have 1 PES and have every other FIFA so don't just brand me a "PES player" I was just merely saying that EA are taking you for a ride, the graphics are getting worse (and no i didn't play it at a low res) the gameplay has improved but is still nothing compared to PES. I do agree that they are different games and so it is understandable that the gameplay would be DIFFERENT however this gameply is different and POOR.
I also agree with Joe, FIFA 2002 does still rool.
