I am about to buy an Nvidia geforce GT 220 graphics card. But i have a small concern whether it will work with my pc as it is a high level card.
My specs
Amd semptron 240
Nvidia geforce 7025/630a
1 GB DDR2 RAM

Will it work

Your processor (and to some extent RAM) will bottleneck the performance of the graphics card proposed, you will not get even 30% of the performance expected out of that card. Game will run, but will stutter a lot.

So what should i get ?.a new ram or a new motherboard ?.i can only afford another 1 gb ram.I have bought the graphics card.i will only put it when i get reply from you guys
Can anyone prevent the bottlenecking issue.i want to get the full perfomence.when i checked the videocard details file of the fifa 12 demo, this was listed in the high video card section
Someone must have found an issue.i am sure you guys can help

220 is a mainstream non performance card.

if your looking to watch a lot of movies then it will work for you.

Tell me your budget of upgrading (in INR) as I am an Indian too.

Dont overclock your processor unless you have a good cooler which I know you dont have.

First thing that you should do is upgrade your processor - even a Rs 3K budget AMD processor will do. But since new AMD processors are AM3, your motherboard wont support it. So you have to invest in new motherboard as well (Rs 2.5K). Again motherboard might not support DDR2 RAM. Go for 2 GB DDR3 (should cost somewhat about Rs 1.5K).

Even then you wont be able to run the game in highest settings with AA 4X on. And believe me, once you play in the highest settings, you wont want to go back to low settings.

Since you have already bought the gfx card, I wont advise you on it. But you should seriously think about processor - if you can increase your budget a bit, go for AMD Phenom 955 BE (Quad core) - Rs. 5.5K.

Coax your dad mate.

5.5 k do you mean 5500 rs ?.i will try.but by putting the graphics card now (without upgrades)in which rendering quality can i play ?

I think you are complicated, what they tell you it's true, because if you want that FIFA works good for you, i think you should update your pc, i mean if you can buy a intel motherboard and a good graphic card, and 4 gb ram too if it were possible, well it's only a suggestion because obviously you decide, well i hope all work good for you bye.

bro are you crazy, do you even know what you are doing ?
you are gonna burn that cpu up fast man.

your cpu has almost nothing to do w/ running your gpu.

the gpu processes data which then gets processed through the cpu.
first the gpu will render a predetermined amount of frames into the memory of the gpu which will then be sent through the cpu.

if your cpu is single core no real amount of overclocking will help you man.
by overclocking it that much eventually you will end up having system issues & way too much heat generated which will cause your cpu to get so hot that the mobo will burn up & the heatsync will become black on the bottom.

you dont just select a set ghz & set the clock to that.

agree'd ....@Adil you probably need a graphic card with 1gb more ram ... you'll probably be able to run it well .. u can get ati 5450 HD i have it and it works perfectly ,,, and its not expensive aswell actually its quite cheap here
