Having said that my housemate bought a 360 just to play it (I sold my 360 elite a couple of months ago) and it's so damn juddery on it. Maybe it's my PC-gaming eyes kicking in, but it doesn't look smooth at all to play on 360.

The GOTY contest is pretty much already over, kind of like Dwight Howard after the first round of the Dunk Contest this year.

Anybody who owns a PS3 or X360 *needs* this game in their collection, games were meant to be made this way...

Played it for the first time today at a friends house...

Greaaaat game. It has something which I absolutely love in games: great physics. I love games where you can do your things and be entertained by crashing into things/people.

I loved shooting the rocket launcher and seeing people fly in the air.

The death sequence is great.

The car/bike jumps are great.

The sniper is great, much improved. Shooting someone in the head actually makes their head cock back etc...

Haven't played any missions yet.

I had very high expectations and they were exceded!

BEST GAME EVER. And that's an understatement. Its no wonder that it has the highest ranking of games of all-time and brought in over $500 million in its first week.





You can go online, get dates, search for cop criminals for reward, call for ambulance to get fixed up, fire truck to extinguish fire, you can even call the cops to arrest the guy attacking you and that's just some of the features that are not evident from the start.

I don't even know where to start with the AI. The damage looks great, blood stains don't dissapear from cars and you can fly out the frontal window of the car!


I have not seen a more complete game in my life, it is so much more than just running around brainlessly shooting everything.

really, they don't go full out on your ass if you become a genocide murderer? I did notice that its much easier to get away from the police and that the wanted level doesn't stick. But i think i can live with that. BTW gotta love the internet and the radio and the fact that their news go hand in hand with your missions is a nice touch as well. That America's next top hooker and the adopt a baby to keep your vagina nice and beautifull just crack me up everytime. "Why settle for stupid and ugly, get babies overnight! The controls aren't so great either. I wouldn't call it the best in the series just yet, either. I'll reserve judgment on that after I've completed the game.
