Gran Turismo 4

Ah, just got home after buying it now. It still has that Gran Turismo feel to it, only better.
The graphics are awesome, and the cars are cool. There are now 700 cars to pick from.
Another thing I liked very much was the Photo Travel thingy. You can take photos of your car in real life places, and you can choose how you want EVERYTHING in the photo (you can take the picture from wherever you want, your car can be wherever you want it to be). And after you have taken your picture you can transport it to your PC via a USB HD thing (if you have a USB Mp3 player, you can use that). You can also print it directly out if you connect your printer to the PS2.
Here's a picture of my first car, just transported it. I think it is somewhere in France.

I also had plenty of credits from GT3, but decided to delete the GT3 save file. I think some of the charm playing Gran Turismo is when you have just started a GT mode game, and buy a cheap car, slowly upgrading it with different stages of the turbo etc.
The first 10 hours of Gran Turismo are the best!

Just wondering if any of you know what oil changes do...if anything? 
Also, just out of curiousity, how far in is everyone? I got the game on the day of release here in the UK and after getting up to 11 % my save file became corrupted so I had to start all over again...4 days of sleep deprivation later, I'm now up to 22.1%

You'll loose horsepower,etc if the oil is old and dirty.
Mostly only needs changing in used cars

Good game, got 4/5 licenses, a few concept cars and decent FR,FF and 4WD cars. At the moment I seem to be stuck on about 10000 credits, I need to learn how to save.

lol I just did that with the car I won in the first special conditions race...I have a feeling the rest of the games gonna be quite easy. Should I keep that rally car or should I sell up and fully do up a different one?
