Today I finally graduated from college. Five years of being lazy finally paid off. I also had the chance to see all the great ladies I missed out on. I feel really dissapointed in that. Oh well if anyone is interested I'll post some pics of ceremony and the subsequent parties I'll be attending.

Congrats. Im hoping to postpone my day for as long as possible (H) I know what you mean about the girls though. There are just far too many hot ones a guy doesnt get to talk to in college not to be sad. Anyway, nice going

yeah ill be graduating high school on june 16. For our Senior Week lots of kids head down to New Jersey, maybe atlantic city or something , so ill be somewhere around there, lol, should be a fun time. :rockman:

I've noticed that gr9s are extremely immature, same with gr10s and some gr11s and 12s

i'd just like to give advice to all of you going into highschool: just be your-selves, don't need to impress anyone

I graduated from HS last year and I never thought I'd miss it all so much. The school, the people, the stupid mundane things u did throughout the day and the actual graduation ceremony, it all seems like it happened just yesterday. But I'm not graduating from anything this year.

Congrats to everyone who is graduating this year though. Good luck with all ur future plans

Too true for words. When your in HS, especially if your a senior, enjoy it every day. Im not trying to be some stern moralist saying "ohh, college and the real world are so much harder blah blah", its just that I used to slag my high school days all the time, and couldnt wait to leave there. When I was gone, i missed all my friends, the place, the teachers so much. Senior year especially is just status, privilege, very little responsibility, and a whole lot of latitude (and i was supposed to be in a much harder program). While College can be more fun, its more accurate to say its just crazier, and has much more work acompanying it. Savour your high school days while they last: beach week will come way too soon

Speak for youself TheBlueBalla, the program I'm in at my highschool, IB is a hellhole. By the time I finish highschool there is pretty much nothing new that I would be able to learn in a college course. All 8 of my classes this year are college courses and about half of them were last year and same the year before so I'm already getting blasted by tons and tons of work that I pretty much never do because I can still manage to get over a 4.0 GPA by just half assing my way through highschool, that's the only good thing about IB you get a twice as much credit for a class.

I actually wanted to blow off my graduation ceremony. Why? Because I felt graduating from high school was so overrated. In fact, the diploma you recieve when you graduate from hs (at least in U S and A) prolly isn't even worth the paper its printed on.

Dude I was about to say the same thing! I was in the ******* IB Diploma program, till 10 minutes ago :shades: . Now I'm just doing IB Certificates..

What IB classes do you take? I hope you take physics, that way you can send me some lab reports (6)
