Got FIFA 06?

Hey,

I have owne 06 for some time now on my Xbox, but, I kinda lready got bored from it, especially with people saying that PES and WE are better. So I wanted to know, what is cheaper, PES or WE and what should I get?


I asked Gamestop if they had WE and guy didn't know it, so much for game clerks. But I'm sure they have it.

Please give me tips and some pointers on each game.

PES and WE are the same game, just different names.

In Europe its known as Pro Evolution Soccer and in Japan/USA it is known as Winning Eleven.

But still, think I should get WE or keep playing FIFA 06 until 07 comes out?

I think you should get PES/WE, its much much better than FIFA IMHO.

Hey,

I did some deep checks on WE 8 International, but I just have a few more questions before I run off to get my copy. What leagues are included? Does it come in several commentary languages? Is 8 better than 9? Is Bush a robot? (Just kidding about the last one :P)

But I'm mainly need to know if it includes (I think, pretty sure, it does) 1st and Second Spanish, any South American Leagues (Such as Brazilian, Mexico, etc.) and is there a way to patch the game with roster changes for Xbox?

I played PES (That's why I was confused) On an Arcade in Mexico, and some of the teams were replaced with Mexican teams. So I found out it was editable right then.

Now, is WE 8 Inter include all the teams selections (Brazil, Spain, Germany, etc.?)

I know WE 8 isn't as official as FIFA, but I want to know how much work I'm gonna have to put into it. ^_^ And I was reading something about better player moves such as dribbles, moves, etc. being easily done?

Don't get WE 8, get WE 9. Thats the newest version.

I'm not sure if there are Xbox patches, try checking the PES/WE forum.

There aren't any 'moves' perse. There is a crossover and a 360, but usually you just change direction while your dribbling to fake something else.

Leagues: (off the tip of my head)
English Premier League
Italian Serie A
Spanish Liga 1
Holland League 1
German 1st League
Assorted other teams (Sao Paulo, Celtic, Rangers, Benfica, Etc)

I would get WE9 not WE8. As for patches and the xbox version, you will find patches for PS2, PC, Xbox, and PSP over at www.evo-web.co.uk The best patch IMO for the xbox version is the K-patch, that is if you have a modded xbox that will allow you to boot backups. If not then I would suggest grabbing Watsons Optionfile, as optionfiles do not require a you to have a system that can boot backups but everything is edited with the in-game editor.
