It may be light and fast but, as you said, it is only in Beta mode. It will become bloated in time for its stable release.

Opera isn't light in terms of the ram usage that it reports, however it is very snappy on average-low end systems. I've heard of it doing a great job on a Pentium II with 92 MB of RAM installed, particularly if you turn off "turbo mode" in its options.

Opera has the best features per requirements value when compared to any of the other browsers, so it may not be considered "lightweight" but has, BY FAR, the best ratio of features per unit requirement.

Now, Google Chrome is a multi-process browser. What does that mean? It will use significantly more memory than single-process browsers like Firefox or Opera.:read::read::read::read:

Love it and I don't use adblock anyway. Everything is simple and fast. And pulling tabs out to their own windows = win. Unless bugs start crawling out this is staying as my default.
