Your textures looks good now but not in the game. But you can easily fix that.

V1.0 will be released tonight or tommorow. I just need to make some final changes and it will be done.
Sorry Icy the expression will stay the same. If you watch teh fifa 2003 vid with giggs in you can see he look serious and boring so thats the way this version will be. I will make a v2 in the next few days with new expression and better hair.

as usual , great face and some improvements which will make more better :-
1) make his skin colour lighter
2) lighten the beard area .

yeah, Giggs in Fifa2003 really great, finally i can really play my hero in the game........but so far, ChRIsA make the truely great Giggs face for current FIFA2002 and WC2002, keep it up, man!!!

maybe you can take reference the head shape and hair style of FIFA2003.......

Btw, i think Chris's version is very good, apart from the eyes, i think the lower lid should be thicker. Btw, have u tried using Baraja's hair? i thought they looked similar.

i agree with YJ, that's a very very good one! you should try the hair style in FIFA2003........

Coz the face makers at EA have never seen Ryan Giggs play at all, let alone knowing who he is.

They don't watch footie, they don't get the footballing sense, but people like us (Red Devils Hardcore) watch footie almost everyday, and of coz Giggsy is one of the most fabulous players ever. The expression, the feeling, the touch, can never be achieved by EA. Simply they're looking at a plain piece of still photo.

But people like Chris, models from the heart.

I do it with most of the faces. I try to look at many pictures, videos, Telly, whatever I can look at and then I use all the info to make the face.
I have been watching Giggsy for over 10 years now and is one of my fav players. He has a unique ability when running on the ball and is really exciting to watch.
I dont know whey EA cant get his look right because they had him in for motion capture and for the video.

ok, I am still trying to make some good giggsy hair, but I cant find a good hairstyle to start with.
BTW Giggsy looked good last night for Wales, I hope Giggsy gets to play in Euro2004.
