getting the right analogue stick to work, the easy way

i was having troubles with gettin my right analogue stick working, some helpful people posted up some links, but upon my reading i decided it was too much to hassle with and i thought i'd take a peek at the control file again (config.sfv located in system folder somewhere), i noticed that on the logitech dual action gamepad and most of the other game pads it had a string of text under the hardcoded recognition which said DEVICE_CONF_DUAL so i thought to myself, why not. so i copied this string and scrolled down to my controller (Nostromo N45) and added this string to the same column and voila it works. so instead of messin with the registry which i'm always hesitant about this is easier.

What to do, if my my gamepad (ThrustMaster Firestorm Dual Power 3) isn't in that list ?

i have no idea if it's not in the list, that is when you would mess with the registry im guessing
