Getting more realistic standings in manager mode?

Hi, Is there any way to get more realistic standings in manager mode? I often witness when I'm playing with Arsenal that Liverpool is located at the 17th place, Manchester United at the 11th place and Chelsea is located at the 12th place. Also teams as Wigan Athletic, Derby County and Blackburn Rovers are relative second, thirth and fourth. Is there a way to get the competition more realistic?
I've tried some changes in Formation, Mentality, Attack Tactics and Defensive Tactics, but all without any solution. Many thanks I've someone have found a solution!

Have you tried to alter chemistry, although I doubt it makes some difference...

In FIFA 07 it worked if u let the 'big' clubs playing in a 4-3-3 formation. Unfortunaly this doesn't work anymore. If found out if u let the teams playing on a neutral mentality (with playing style counter attack) and the smaller clubs on a defensive mentality (with playing style wing play and zone defense) the standings are far more realistic. This works pretty good for the teams Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea, but not for Liverpool. Why is Liverpool such a bad team in the competition?

Does this happen in leagues besides the EPL? In the EPL there are 10+ 4 star teams. What do the standings look like in Italy, for example, where there only a few 4 star teams?

Use Manager Master 08 by Rinaldo and type in the results for the games manually. Then you'll get realistic standings.

Solves the problem. I am currently playing with Barca in the Spanish liga and the teams second and 3rd are Sevilla and Valencia. The reason is that there isnt much of a difference in terms of the rating between teams in the EPL compared to othr leagues and sometimes it can spring surprises in the league table. The fact that teams like derby have high team chemistry compared with Liverpool is also a factor. I have also witnessed liverpool get relegated and Blackburn winning the league

Yes that's very weird. Blackburn Rovers is on the second place and Wigan Athletic on the thirth place.
