It sucks that neither side can bring their best team to this game.

These are the lineups according to the German sports magazine Kicker. The US team is pretty close to Rn DMB's last proposal.

Kahn
Owomoyela Mertesacker Metzelder Lahm
Kehl
B. Schneider Borowski
Ballack
Asamoah Klose

substitutes:
Lehmann , Hildebrand, Schweinsteiger, Podolski, Jansen,
Neuville, F. Ernst, M. Friedrich, A. Friedrich

Keller
Cherundolo Pope Gibbs Pearce
Olsen Mastroeni Klein Convey
Twellman Johnson

substitutes:
Hahnemann, Feilhaber, Feilhaber, Conrad,
Zavagnin, Ching, Hejduk, Berhalter, Wolff

I'm predicting a 3-1 win for the home team.

What is that Germany logo?? It looks like a slightly rearranged swastika.

LOL at the slightly rearranged part. I bet I could make my avatar logo a slightly rearranged swastika if only I bend it a bit...

That wil be a pretty relevant result for our WC predictions, I suppose. No guesses for now.

Germany under scrutiny. Should Germany lose this match, critics will be all over thrown at Klinsmann.

anyway, Germany can get a win, IMO. Should be an interesting match.

I get mine from hqfl.dk and brandsoftheworld.com. I start out with vector images, at huge resolution, so that I can recolorize and edit them, then I shrink them down to the right size.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if Gibbs would be fit enough to start, but maybe he will.

I'm predicting a 1-1 draw, which would be quite an accomplishment considering the circumstances. Ballack and Convey with the goals.

If I hear Dave O'Brien say "left/right footed kicker", "defensed", or "Red Bull New York/New York Red Bulls" at all tomorrow, I'm just gonna snap. This guy doesn't just suck, he f*cking sucks.

This guy can't be worse than some of the German announcers. Sometimes they prefer talking about players wifes or Beckenbauer or anything else but calling the game. And if they decide to do what they are paid for, it's something else than what is happening on the pitch.
