GeForce video card is better ATI Radeon

...for playing pes4. When i first got GeForce 5500 with 126mb, i didi had some initial probelms with the quality of the video, i then did some adjustment with the screen resolution and the video becomes much better, but not to my full satisfaction. So i went to the store yesterday and got ATI Radeon 9250 with a 256MB DDR hoping to recieve a better video output but i can hardly play the game. I mean that Radeon suppose to be more powerful that the GeForce but i dont know what is wrong, maybe i didnt configure it well. Anyway i will be going back to the store tomorrow to return it and get the Geforce. But those anyone have any expert advice maybe i was doing something wrong

you need to adjust the settings mate. go to display properties/settings/advanced/ATI direct 3d graphics.

Dont take the card back, there is nothing wrong with it, you just havent configured it properly, how much u pay for it?

the 9250 is the bottom of the range ati card get a 9600, x-600or something better if you can
i have an old 9500 with 128ram and a amd2400 the game runs perfect with everything on full
the main reason the midrange cards from ati are better than nvadia is the driver support

well, as I've told before, RAM only gives bandwidth.. the important thing is the core speed and memory speed.. radeon 9200 (especially se version) is a crappy card for that..

ati 92XX is less expensive than 5200

i can also say that tnt is slower than 9800xt....




but, the truth is...i like nvidia...i just switched from 9600se to ti4600
