GC vs. PS2

Yes, yes, i know. The PS2 is a bit old and Came Cube isn't the best console. But these are my options, what would you reccomend, maybe i would go for the Game Cube one, but honestly i don't trust Nintendo and i think that they may cut some stuff. For example i fear they don't add the Creation Engine on the GC version.:kader:

If they don't have the creation center in the GC version I'll kill someone. It's a superior console, the graphics are better, but developers treat it like the red-headed stepchild.

if there is no creation center they would have said so.
just like the online option.

i don't think they are gonna cut something that important from the game.

I don't have money to get an Xbox. But i can play in the other 2, GC and PS2. I still think i would go for the GC. But in FIFA 2004 they cut the soundtracks and there's no language option, so i fear they remove the Creation Engine.

get ps2, I have Xbox but I did have cube and it was horrible, you can't play online, you can't play DVD's and stuff and the PS2 version just flows better and includes everything. ANyways the PS2 has alot more variety of games then gamecube, you can even try pro evolution soccer

GC cube version looks much better, but the PS2 version of 04 had the full tracks, and could replay more in the instant replay...the gc hardly showed anything....

they were both glitchy though

From my experiences I noticed that the GameCube version of FIFA 03 the opposing team's AI never, never, ever made substitutions unless one of their players got injured. And then I play FIFA 03 on the PS2 and it made subs quite a bit. Also on the cube if the other team made a formation change when it wasn't working you won the lottery. There was no choice of language which bites. Fifa 04 was the same thing adding the shorting tracks. (I couldn't listen to Cafe Tacuba's whole track.) But the graphics are superior to the PS2. The ps2 is starting to show it's age in some aspects.

:hump: opps. long post.

I've heard that in the PS2 version of FIFA 2004, with the keeper you could get to do the ball drop. You know like on FIFA 99 of PC when the keeper grabs the ball and you press W then he drops the ball and you can move with the ball at your feet. Is that true? Because in the manual of the GC version it says you can pressing Y, but actually it does nothing.
