Game won't start

Hi. I did some searches, but didn't find this issue.

When I double click my WE7.exe, I get a quick hourglass, then nothing happens. When I open Task Manager, I see we7.exe running as a process, but not an application.

Does that make any sense?

I've been playing the game daily for 3 weeks, with no problem, then today it starts.

Is a uninstall/reinstall my only option???

i had this with CM....

if you're running XP or 2000, when you go to the processes thing, right click on it and set its priority to high or realtime, and once it loads, put it back to normal, this worked for me with CM

Thanks for info, but once I change the priority, it still sits there and does nothing. I tried changing the priority then closing it, then restarting it, but it reverted back to normal priority.

I guess I'll try to reinstall!

yeh this happened to me as well except with PES i loaded the new wendetta boot pack and then it just opens as a procsess?

I figured out my data_e.afs file was bad (I had tried to edit some files), so I replaced it with Wolf's patched one, and everything works fine....
