Alright everyone 1st time posting, looked everywhere on the forum cannot find anyone talking about the speed of the players? Got all Fifa games 004 was awful the players were far to slow and you couldn't change the speed.Be grateful if anyone knows also is it harder to score usually if you shoot from wayout the ball goes in cheers.

Billy, in my opinion the players in 05 seem to run too slow. There is also only a slight difference between fast players (Henry) and slow ones (Bergkamp). And as for the shooting, it seems they've made it almost impossible to score from outside the area, it seems to go wide despite who's hitting it, the amount of power and the aiming. Shooting is basically a mess.

Same old same old. (N) :(

yeh shooting from outside is damn tough now but then that gives you more of a challenge as now youve actually got to get through the defenders and set up some excellent passes it makes the goal that much better looking if it was set up really well.

With the speed i found it to be much faster than 2004,i think in the full version you can change the speed.

After playing PES3 for so long, FIFA 2005 feels slow. However this is easily solved by changing the default to FAST!

As for shooting, I'm putting them in from all realistic ranges i.e. outside the box to one-on-one. No issues for me. Maybe I'm just a more skillfull player than most of you :)

Sorry Dude, I have THE OFFICAL game (Xbox) as it's already out in Australia.

Game speed is all relative. For me after playing PES3 for so long the default setting in FIFA 2005 seems slow. Easily fixed though, adjust the setting to FAST & away you go!

i think you guys want the game to shoot inside for yourselves

ive already scored alot of goals from outside the area but you have to figure it out the right direction and power, if you play with keyboards it's not just going foward and pressing d you should aim while the power bar is charging like 0,5 second foward then 0,25 secs down then release d and it will go kinda between the left angle and the middle of the goal it's just about right calculating...

cheese, now a good football game is the one that scores everytime you press d?? or that doesnt require any ability from you to play good soccer on it? stop :f***: for things that are easy to solve you kids...

Is there an option to change the power-up speed in the final game, and, if there is, does this actually affect the shooting power-up speed (unlike last year where only through-ball and chip were affected)?

I'm glad you can alter the speed setting on the X-Box game this time, the only thing letting FIFA2004 down IMO was the slow pace (which was even worse with Nationwide teams). The PS2 FIFA2005 demo was a little bit slow as well.

Sounds like I'm really gonna like 05!

Mike.
