Game runs bad frame rate...

Is there any reason that the game runs at about 3-4 fps on my comp?

My specs are:

P III 866Mhz
128mb RAM
Geforce 3

Try upgrading your RAM..... Should work....

128MB is what 64MB RAM was a couple of years ago....

I've got 512 DDR and that makes quite a difference I can tell you!

Download fraps from www.fraps.com or u can make a small change in u'r ini.big

So you are saying that if I just upgrade my RAM it will run good?

I have GeforceMX400 ,P3 500 and192M SDRAM but my game runs only at 8~10 fps .

my game is running stable on 50-60 fps but then i just upgrsded my computer to.

Specs:
AMD ALTHON 1800+
512 SDR
Geforce 3 Ti 2000 128 DDR
Windows 200 pro

if ur mb is sufficient...try downloading the demo raptor, and changing the resolution to a simpler' mode. This smoothens the rate...so i've noticed.

I put mine to 640-480-32...it's waaaaay better...i have 256mb ram, and an nVidia card (which has the red screen and rainbow colors)

I have exactly the same problem but the funny thing is that the game ran good before i made some changes to my system(IE update,activate DMA on my new harddisk,installed a new mouse). I've checked everything but the gameplay still is very jerky.

My specs:

P3 733
Geforce 2 Ti 64mb
384 mb ram

Windows 98 se

128MB RAM is sufficient. You do not need to upgrade. Your computer specs are good enough. Shut down all TSRs and memory resident programmes, make sure you have DirectX 8.1b and the latest drivers for your graphics card.

If this still doesn't work, call EA Tech Support.

First of all, I did upgrade everything, Directx 8.1, latest drivers for my Nvidia TNT 2, I closed every program but anyway it still having rainbow colours, could you EAGuyUK tell me how yo fix it?

You´ve got a geforce 3, so your videocard is processing the most calculations. So by upgrading your RAM, your CPU will gain performance, cause it can send/receive more data to/from the memory.....

I don´t say it solves it all, buy it makes quite a difference!!

my pc is ok but my graphics card is a real letdown,

i have an AMD athlon xp 1.3ghz and 128mb ram
but my graphics card is a s3prosavage km133 and its ****e, i'm getting a new graphics card before i get the full version of this game, but in the demo i edited a file and i get a perfect frame rate, if anyone wants the file tell me and i'll e-mail it to them, oh u need ariel's demo rapter too.

tHE PROBLEM WITH THE RAINBOW KITS AND BALL IS THE NEXT ONE:
iF YOU DONT HAVE THE "TNL" IN YOUR GRAPHIC CARD DONT HAVE THIS FEATURE THEN YOU WILL SEE THE F...ING RAINBOW.
