Game from England work on North American system?

I was just wondering if I bought the fifa 2005 game for xbox from england and got a relative to send it over, would it work in canada???

I don't think it will. European systems use PAL system and XBOX in the US will not read the disc. There are ways to tweak the system, but you can just buy the game here.

Console games from overseas are incompatible with our systems here west of the Atlantic.
