Game freezes (ps2)

Iv had fifa on ps2 for a few weeks now, and for some reason the game has frozen on me twice, and when it does this it makes a noise. I know its not my ps2 cause my game has frozen on my friends ps2 once and on mine once. Also the game has not one scratch on it. Anyone know whats going on?

same thing happened to me once while i was playing in career mode..but it hasn't happened since...the ps2 does make a noise

I dont mean a normal fifa noise, it freezes and makes this strange noise its hard to explain. Like a continuos beep.

it has happened to me on many occasions! It is infuriating after playing 5-6 games and losing all when it crashes...the game freezes and make a low "brrrrrrrrrrr" noise

it's happened to me heaps on PS2 very annoying

means when playing Career Mode I have to save after every game

Hey All,

I had the same problem with the PS2 version, and the only solution I found was to turn off the music for the same (by going to EA Trax and changing turning each song off). The logic does not make sense because the game freezes in-game, but it has worked for over 150 matches without any freezing compared to 2 in the first 15 games I played. Try it out and let us know if you receive similar results.

Ive been having the same problems on xbox so its not just the ps2

i had this problem on ps2 for fifa 2003 i hear a grinding noise and the game freezes up or u lose commentary during game or crowd noise.
