Game Crashes before match start?!

So i completed my first season on master league in the 2nd divison, the game runs fine no problems what so ever....until i started to play the preseason games. 1st preseason match , right after i select my formation the game all of sudden crashes and takes me back to windows, i have no idea what the problem could be, it was running fine I can't seem to get past that, I also decided toi try a friendly game to see if a match worked in general but now that too crashes rigth before the match starts. WTF HAPPENED? all of sudden this games stops working lol. If anyone else is or has experienced this and knows what the problem could be, plz let me know.

ps. I even reinstalled the game, directx drivers, but i still get the same problem......damn

Have you tried using 3D Analyze? My game used to crash like yours because of the high textures of the balls (or something), but it could be something else. Can't see why it would just suddenly happen though. Download the latest version of 3D Analyze and try and run the game through that. Hope it works.

Thank for the help Porks! i did try 3d analyze, but it still didnt fix it. I managed to figure out what the problem was though, the problem was I had too many saved games on my folder 1, strange, I had to delete all of them except for my last 3 recent saves. For some reason this was never a problem with pes4 where i used to use every single open slot to save my games, i never re-wrote over them, except when i ran out of save slots.

Anyway, the game is back to normal now and works fine finally =D
This wierd "save data" situation keeps me wondering though.....

aha, I had the same prob, and only cured it by removing loads of save files too
it might be when the size goes above 8mb (a normal memory card size for PS2)?

yes it a about save folders size..reduce save file size :rockman:
