Here's a scenario when it happens:
1. You installed kitserver and LOD mixer 1.6 (the order doesn't matter)
2. Now you uninstall kitserver, and try to run the game
3. It crashes right away.
Why this happens:
when uninstalling kitserver, the setup program modifies a flag in EXE-file to make the code section read-only. LOD mixer needs that section to be read-write.
How to fix it:
Run LOD Mixer, and press "Save" button, without changing any settings. This will set the flag in the EXE-file to correct value.
