AND THEN... Turk_1975 woke up and realized that Fenerbahce was in 1st place.
thierry henry's shoes probably cost more than all of galatasaray does when galatasaray got the UEFA cup, and luis figo's shoes probably cost more than all of turkey when galatasaray won the European Super Cup.. the fact is, although I'm not very hopeful about the galatasaray's future, time will prove someone wrong and I hope we'll not be proven wrong..
by the way, galatasaray took the risk of a player like anelka, the name was mario jardel, and he cost 16 million dollars in transfer fee, and a total of 25 million dollars for three years as far as I can remember.. I think that makes a bit more than your 10 million dollar fee for transfer

Myself, I insert my 2000 UEFA Cup CD in to my PC and watch all the Galatasaray UEFA games untill we lift that trophy and bring it to Turkiye. And then the super cup, M.Jardel (was said that he wasn't a good transfer by some jelouse fener fans) scores both goals and lifts the trhophy again..
