Don't blame Ronaldo, he actually played and attacked with big determination and everytime when he lost a ball he won a free-kick. It was our European best young player of the year that should have scored. Remember that time in second half when he ran into the area, let Fulham defense get back and then just started pushing the ball to the right more and more, ending up having a stacked up area and then he just passed to Keane. Take a shot frig. And then in 88th minute he put a ball from the range where he should have at least hit the target.

Yeah, we had some good counterattacks in the second half where we had a good chance of scoring but Rooney was hesistant or slowed it down. Damn. :(

Bah United should have won. I want to see a "three horse race" in the premiership till the end.
About the game, i think that Manchester United was unlucky and deserved another result. All those balls that hit the bar/post plus that Ronaldo shot in the end of the second half...so many chances.
Keane came so close to scoring his 50th goal, when i saw the ball hit the post, i instantly remembered that awesome shot against Millwall. I hope he scores soon. I thought that Giggs played pretty well also, can´t believe that the Sky Sports player rating gave him a 6. His runs were always very dangerous and 90% of the times he could only be stop by fouls. Smith was awesome, a real warrior batling for every ball either on the fulham box or in the midfield. He needs to improve his passing altough. Ronaldo was flashy but again, he needs to be more objective. About the stupid muppet that said that he was greedy, i disagree, it was actually one of the most unselfish games i saw from Ronaldo. He was constantly looking for his teammates and i saw some good moves btw him, Rooney and Smith. He was unlucky in that last minute shot in the first half. Rooney was impressive in the first half but in the second half he was kinda lost and wasn´t that sharp in the counter attacks. United lost some vital balls because of that. But even so with a lil bit of luck he could have scored and "ended" the game for Fulham
About Fulham, if it wasnt for Cole´s sporadic box runs and that amazing shot that hit the post, the attack and the chances to score would be inexistent. They had the merit of holding the 1-0 till the 87 minute tough. The strategy worked but Coleman (even tough he risked alot in the end with those subs) was lucky.
If United want to really challenge for the title, they can´t miss these golden oportunities of gaining points against Arsenal and Chelsea.

Rooney is looking more and more like a waste of money after his 6-2 debut against Fener. 27m and he's done hardly anything since then. Maybe strengthening midfield would have been a better investment, now we're stuck with a old midfield, youth team far from being deserving of a 1st team spot, and strikers who don't score for ****. We're screwed for a while.

Starting XI
any other day we would have been at least three up in the first half and diop would have been red carded twice over but it wasn't to be. really disappointed that we looked like we were settling for one nil, it was painfully obvious we were going to be kicked in the teeth right at the end :kader:

Fernandez

Team Captain
It's the midfield and maybe the striker. I bet if Saha was playing, he would happily put those chances away. Great goal by Smith as well. We now need to beat Crystal Palace if we want to continue our pursuit.

this seems so pathetic.
it makes me sick.
unable to finish from the bottom half of table.
damn pathetic.
and how unlucky r we to always miss ruud constantly these days.

this draw v fulham, the draw v man city and loss v pompey are 3 games which we may have to look back upon at the end of he season and say that we could have done more.
cause we were in superb form and then dropped points in those games.

rooney is becoming more of an andy cole.missing many nowadays.
he scores difficult goals, but makes simple goals seem so difficult

we had a glorious chance to cover ground on the gunners and chelski
but alas!!!
