If you do a number of things:
1.open cm08
2 go to tournaments for e.g. seria A or La liga and press 'get teams from league' for each tournament.
3.save and exit.
Then you'll play in manager mode BUT the rest leagues of the game will not be updated only the leagues you have imported and furthermore the leagues such as Greek or Russian will not be connected to CL and EC.
You'll have to go to tournament and add them manually.
Then i finish the update for all Leagues i will make a patch with updated tournament for CL EC and Copa Liperdatoders/Subamericana and more...
But it will be late i am on my own...

for each tournament means the tournament for which I import patch right.. for example: if I import Serie A patch.. i have to do this only for serie A right?

The problem is, that's impossible to change the starting year of the game...
So there are two options:
1.change the birthday date of all players adding 3 years...or
2.leave it as it is!!!

Ukrainian teams after uploading the same error in 3 teams.

It will start even if you're not change the birthday date...
if you change it it will be as if you are 2010 (2010-2008=3)

I don't know...try to change formation.If nothing happens,create a new team,transfer players and add kits ,minis logos ect manually .

Mine i've test it and plays ok...
When you add cmp patch go at the tournament press 'get teams from league'
and play...Don't mess with the tournament structure if you're not sure for what you doing...
