I guess this queston has already been asked. But I wil ask anyway as I didn't see it. What are the freekicks like? Is it much harder to score like the penalties and is it a different system?

same system as 04 butmore realistic and not as hard to score.. like if u make it perfect with a good amount of power itll go in.. unlike the last game where it was merely just luck.. better this year i think

i think the biggest difference is that the more spin you put on it the bigger the miss-hit area on the meter is.

yeah if you use a crap player and use alot of spin it no way accurate

last year i had maybe 1/2 spin on the ball to the right. so i was using Giggs and had PERFECT power and PERFECT accuracy about 5 times. the ball went a mile over the GOAL! does this happen in fifa 2005 is i used Giggs to do a free kick?

It was not hard 2 score at all in 04 so how easy must it be this year.

This year is far more realistic, and its not too hard, but its not too easy either, I think this is second best free kick system (fifa2003 was the bomb!)

My luck

What I have found that works for just outside the 18 yard box is aim for the side of the wall, just outside of it and curl it. What happens is it hits the defender covering my player and goes into the net

There is not enough spin...
IT would be nice to be able to really curl it.

Another improvement would be to have 5 choices, not 3; and to have a choice of 3 different players to take the kick.
After the foul is awarded, and before the kick is taken, you can choose from 3 players.
Same for penalties, you should be able to choose again on the spot.

I always barely miss my freekicks, it really frustrates me!!! But penalties are a breeze, the goalie goes to the sides all the time so i just blast it into the middle of the net.

my bigest issue is the corner kicks. I can figure out the best way to kick them and tactics to use?

i go driven to the guy staning near post for corner kicks no timing of run involved just jostling for position with the defender, also the goalie doesn't go after it too.

The golie always goes after mine unless I do headers and the defender always knocks my go out of the target circle. If I do the run in kick the golie always comes out and catches it. How do I get around this??

during corners, wait until the round circle at the bottom corner of your screen diminishes until a third is left, then go for it. you'll ALWAYS be able to beat the defender

near post... O fo ps2, for computer select the one right outside the 6 yard box...back your defender down... keep pushing him, create some space.. than when you have some space wait for the ball and head it into the far post.. it always works when the keeper doesnt come out

Here is my Tip...>>>

Hit the Ball with 3 Toes (Move your Right Anolog Stick to the Opposite Way of your Player's Foot and in the right Corner) and Put the other Target (Where the golie is at) at put near the Post in the Opposite Side too...and Shoot it Half Power and in the Middle...and you will Score 2/3 in World Class...

actually i do driven, on ps2 and select triangle. then when there is about a 1/4 of the circle left i run in and always goes in. i was playing against arsenal with bury and i won 5-4 on world class.... 4 of those goals were corners.
