free kicks

i think i have mastered the free-kicks in practice mode but i never get any free kicks or penalties

so is there a way of getting them or is it just the case that i dont have the right sort of players (leeds)

the goalkeeper in practice mode is set on the amateur level. it becomes much harder, almost impossible to score free kicks when you get to pro or world class level

First off it is because Ian Harte has no shot power you should use Viduka or Smith. Second what is with all the noobs tonight.

Atleast I think so.
I scored 3 out of 5 so far in the games

And when i dont score i hit the post or something.

For me, I usually try to use one player and dribble around outside the eighteen, attempting to weave through defenders. It appears that every so often they foul me immediately.

freekicks are simple not hard at all.. set the power up speed to slow then aim top corner with quite abit of power and fire!!!.. i play with southend and never miss the target!!

guys, all of you who are aiming at upper 90's and getting frustrated and why the keeper always knocks them away are going about it wrong. Only go at the very upper corners if you are right outside the box, and i mean right outside.
Otherwise, the farther away you are taking it from, move it more towards the center of the goal, like position the center of the cursor 2 feet down and 2 feet across from the upper 90, and put a lot of side spin on it. When you put the side spin on it, the ball will end up inches inside the post, and the goalie, if he touches it, will knock it into the goal instead of out. Looks very nice.

Yeah I scored 2 today (pro) and the first one the goalie tipped in the net. It does work like how he described, but only sometimes
