To be fair, this is a bad example of how to take a free kick. It only goes into the goal due to a keeper error.

Yeah, you're right, it's a bad example. I just had on my hard drive in gif format so I just decided to post it along. But it does show a decent curve — only if it had gone a little more down and to the left it would have been good.

I have tried millions of this kind of freekick method. Press Select, then press R3 to give a short pass, but every time i cant fire the ball to the corner, i always fire the ball in the middle into the keeper's chest. any tips?

well JanerAli since it wasn't anything importanT and I didn't tell u to use edit button in order to offend you just to give the good example. Because i remember some ppl posting 3 posts in a row on off topic forum and they said he did it 2 etc.
And since u recognize that my tips on free kicks were nice explained I am ok with u!

Press the left arrow button with the R1 button to get a hard left curled shot, and fire it a bit harden then with a normal freekick

And you need somebody with a very high shotpower, and some luck

the video posted is deiciving. The R2 method which i tryed after long time really works much better than i thought. U can fire a stronger shot without sending it to the wall or to they sky. Thought not as strong as with r1 etc.

If yes i can explain it a bit better.

20-23 mettres. Using R2 button it allows you to make a stronger shot than the normal shot which if u kick it right it will be a goal. With R2 you can pass the ball easily over the wall and send it in the corner of the keeper. I recommend that only if u wish to make a stronger shot. And from distance of 23-28 it will allow u a good with power and curling. But Make sure u press up arrow. I also like to add curl too.
