I discovered that if you shoot with a player that is right footed and you are shooting from the right side it is better to aim lower to the ground.
If you shoot from the left side you must not aim low cause the ball will hit the wall. Instead aim for the top corner and try to get the right shoot power so that the ball doesn`t go to low, it has to go directly to the top corner. So if the ball goes lower next time add more power.

I wish you could change on the fly which person to take the free kick.
I always direct them to the top corner (whichever is farther from where the goalie is standing), with a little spin bending away from the wall. For power, I usually try to get 3/4 of the meter, but it depends on how close/far I am to the goal, and obviously accuracy right in the middle. Seems to work really well for me on all levels of play. I also agree that they should add a feature that allows you to change the kick taker on the fly.

Free kicks are easy in Semi pro. World class you really got to hit a perfect shot to score but i do get a lot of rebound goals. World class isnt all that hard

practice it and you will learn alot...first time i didn't noe how to take FK but practice makes you better...anyway to give u a tip go for the top corner(near bar) and if u are in area dat is little bit far den make it little curved and when u press d stop it in middle and when it goes back just get the green area...DAT WORKS 90% of time for ME!!

taking a freekick that is a little bit further out i always aim for
the right corner, just a little down from the bar ( with a rightfoot )
and charge the power almost to the top and then try and get it as accurate as possible. Playing with teams with good freekickers is important. Playing with lazio and chelsea i dont even have to
hit the green very accurate to score. As for closer freekicks,
aiming for the left corner with the spin set at the right corner of to ball ( the marker should be touching the end of the ball ) in the middle of the ball and halfway up on the powermeter ( this somehow adds a LOT more speed to the shot ) i score 85% of the time with my freekicks. Try it.
