Formations...from a strategic standpoint

A quick strategy question.

Do teams (in real life) usually stick with one formation through the entire game or does it change regularly depending on how the game is going?

Also, do teams usually start every game with the same formation or do you gameplan the formation based on your opponent?

well, if someone gets a red card, then they will change the formation, especially if the person who got the card was a defender.

It all depend's on who you're against if you're at home or away how your current form is and how the games going

That's kinda what I thought. I've been playing on the World Class level with a gameplay mod and I've won a few and lost a few.

Lest night in my Spurs dynaty I started against Man City and got torched for 3 goals in the first half. It literally seemed like they had 15 guys on the field. I couldn't do anything.

I switched my formation in the second half and played a lot better.
