For Xbox or Gamecube players, do you experience any slowdown during gamplay?

I plan to buy the xbox or gamecube version because i am not happy with the smoothness of the ps2 version. It's smooth in general, except during half time or the opening cutscene. Which version do you recommend?

But i can tell you if you look for perfect smoothness, PS2 is not the right version to choose. Maybe Pc version gives you the best performance when you have Radeon 9800XT or Geforce 5950 ultra.

Yes i have experianced a lagging effect in which for a slight moment every few seconds the game slows down ....

It happend on my first ever match...and has once again happend to me today for the remaining 15mins of a match....Once you finish the match is doesnt happen again (Xbox)

P.S ....Xbox controllers give you free mvement and and feels confortable when pressing buttons ....it feels as if its molded into your hands unlike the ps2 controllers. But if your put of buying an Xbox just because of its controllers DONT BE!! a smaller model of the controller (slightly smaller that ps2 controller) has been released

I got the gamcube verion tday, have played it all day and have not noticed any slow down

The problem (not for me) is that the Xbox controller was molded after an American man's hand. A regular 5'11 175 pounds guy (1.80 meters ) so people with small hands supposedly have problem with the remote or are using it as an excuse. When I first touch that controll I tought it was custom made or something.

Another difference between the two is the player's kit if you have seen both you can tell the difference in their detail. Another thing is when you look at the stadia it does not run at a smooth framerate.

My hands aren't that big, people smaller then me have around the same size hand as me and I'm about 6 foot something. I think the xbox pad is great. And I'm not talking about controller-S.

The reason that you're experiencing slow down on xbox is because you've got it set as widescreen in the xbox setup. Start your xbox without a cd in and go to video settings. If it's on widescreen, change it to normal. You won't experience any slowdown anymore. The game is much much faster so be prepared!

i have fifa on the gamecube and i experienced slow lagging to fix this problem you should set it to 60hz mode when u turn on ur gamecube hold the b button and it will ask you wether u want to set it to 60hz mode say yes and there u go problem solved

On Xbox I had the game lock up once, and also come up with the message that it couldn't read the disk, but that may have been caused by some dust.

Once I also noticed in a game that it was really jerky losing frames, so I rebooted the Xbox and it has been fine since.

I think the Gamecube controller is the comfiest one out there, you just need time to get used to the buttons and that's it. I love how your fingers rest on the L and R buttons,

The Xbox controller is OK but it's a little too big to grab it, you gotta open your hand alot

I got a couldn't read disc error aswell..??

And I hadn't saved it for a while either

I lost a few games that way, so make a habit of saving career after each game.
