how can i make lines on the kit? (i saw the tutorial and i didn't succeded) and how can i color parts of the kit?

wow, which tutorial do you watched mate... if you don´t even know how to color the kit, you definitly watched the wrong tut!
set the texture on multiply, creat a new layer, place the new layer under the texture-layer and color the new layer
