For the first time ever im going to be buying FIFA, im amazed im doing it, but im not going to not buy it just coz its got FIFA on it...........i actually enjoyed the demo........the gameplay is much better IMO, but it was the atmosphere and commentry in the game that sold me on it.
I see it like this, PES has a bigstick, that stick is the ball physics, player physics, general gameplay and freedom you feel you have when in control, its a nice feeling, BUT the rest of the game is not evolving..............seems as tho PES is all about gameplay and thats it, the sound and commentry to be totally honest is way below average and frankly its not good enough, not to mention the thorn in the side over licensing...........enough is enough!!, people out there will say its all aboutgameplay..........bollocks!!........... gameplay is a part of it not the whole thing, hearing the reactions to what you are doing with the ball is very satisfying and can make the game very emotional, and exciting like a real game..............PES for me has ignored this important side to the game, and shame on them for basically not working on it.............commentry, crowd, and music are poor, so poor infact im buying FIFA for sure.............and i give them credit for bringing out a far superior product this year, unlike PES, who IMO havnt done a great deal, honestly...........if you think PES5 is a leap over PES4, then you are easily pleased or just so in bed with PES youre blind..........i expected alot more, and im not talking about gameplay, we all know its good, better than FIFA's, but im not happy KONAMI have sat on what is good in the game and let the rest slide, one day it will be there downfall, with FIFA chomping at the bit, ..................my hat is off to FIFA for giving it a good go, all they need is the freedom of gameplay, which is getting there, the rest is there, in abundance then PES will be doing the catching up.
To sum up, why am i getting FIFA this year, because of this............its a more complete package, its crappy gameplay has stopped me buying it in the past, and thats all that stopped me, this year its much better, simply im having fun with it.
PES5 with the great gameplay but arcadey everything else is starting to annoy me, you cant have too much of a good thing, so KONAMI stop sitting on your BIGSTICK and improve the rest of the game, your failings are obvious to me and my money this year is not yours, your fault!!
