No. Hes name is really Ronaldo. He is portuguese not english, why the hell would he have the name Ronald? Oh Btw Ronaldo isnt really a common name in Portugal, his father named him Ronaldo cause he was an admirer of Ronald Reagan, the ex american president.

He's real name is CRISTIANO RONALDO dos Santos Aveiro.

Note: It's Cristiano and not Christiano

i know that OU is that kind, but i was trying to make it some kind and Roonaldo didn't come from the English trying to make Rooney sound better. I just read it in the Russian newspaper after Ronaldo signed for United, where they wrote his name with the pronounciation as in OO, but if it's not than whatever.
