For all those who want to play FIFA 08.....

This thread is for all those who want to play FIFA 08 but cant due to their pc not supporting the requirements of FIFA 08.

Well the other day i tried to play fifa 08 but i couldnt. I did some changes but still i couldnt. So i had this idea y nt TRY to make fifa 07 into fifa 08. To me it looks impossible bt since i'm free for a whole 3 months i'll give it a try. But the problem is that i cannot do it alone andi need some help starting from which file is in which zdata. For exmple kits for fifa 08 are in which zdata. All those who want to help are most welcom

yes yes yes. I have converted fifa 07 into fifa 08. Nt the whole game but the language selection screen the copy rights screen and the screen where fifa asks u to press any button

ok thanks mates. But this aint gonna be easy. I have tried several things and that included replaceing 07's datebase with 08's thrugh database master. But it didnt work.

The method in which i succeeded in conversion was through creation master 08. i dont knw exactly hw i did it but i edited fifa 08 and saved my work than opened 07's file fifa.db and mea.db and all the files were that from 08.

so has any1 any idea hw v can convert boots and kits?
i'll give it a shot again only this time edting the kits and boots and etc etc separtly. Plzzz agucronaldo and sanil i nedd ur full co-opeartion and help. So if u have any ideas dnt hestite to post them here

Yes i agree this s going to be awesom but hell its four times more harder. And guys i'm gonna wait 2 more days b4 i start over this project again. I'm waiting 4 those who want to give me a helping hand in this project so that i if some1 wants to work apart frm ideas ( ideas are welcom any time) v can start together.

Wow. It seems like a very hard idea and I'd gonna love it. :P Well some graphics like adboards, gloves, boots, flags etc format are same as 07 and 08. But why are you trying this?

because i want to play fifa 08 but i cant. cmc211 can u plzzz tell me all the graphics that fifa 07 and fifa 08 have in common (i.e is they are same)

well apaerntly there appears to be 1 major problem. U see i'm a liverpool fan and when i was able to find out which zdata contains kits for liverpool it turned out to be zdata_07. But in the options of CM the minimum limit of zdata in which to save is 40.

Usually when EA gives system requirements, it usually means you need to have higher system requirements

[E.g.:-
When they say 2.0 GHz, they actually mean it must be more than 2.0 GHz.

This is what happened to my old computer (the one i'm actually using now.)

2.2 GHz clockspeed
128 MB Graphics
512 MB RAM
AMD 64 Athlon Processor

But it doesn't work.

BTW, it's not that expensive to upgrade
It would take approximately AU$500.00 (if u r livin in Australia)

If u r sharing ur VGA with ur RAM, upgrade ur RAM, go 2 BIOS and change the amount shared by the RAM.
