P2P is just about dead and gone in regard to the music side of it, due to the current attacks by the RIAA bastards, but all is not morbid and drab, all is not doom and gloom brothers, the latest trend is to snitch music/mp3's from the internet radio stations by using as an example nifty and legal software that does the job very efficiently, anyways bro's i just purchased a terrific program called Audio Extract Pro from a venue on the net, wow, what a great and simple program that captures the download stream to a T in mp3 format etc, more about this program can be found from this link, and believe me it is worth every dollar if you want mp3 music. :) It's time to enjoy the rock'n' roll again. :)

I use WinMX. Its interface is pretty simple and no spyware or advertisement at all. And a lot of people use it so you can find some rare files if you try hard enough.


I might try Soul Seek with people here recommending it a lot. :confused:

Yeh i used it at one point around 3 months ago, u can download whole albums at a time off it. Only problems is it goes kind of slow sometimes.

In my local area we all use Shareaza.
it ain't great for P2P but in terms of torrents i think its quite useful.
Some people think that the downside is that you can only download full albums, but for me i think that that is a bonus, saves me from searching for all the tracks

actually thats why i don't like using torrents. its great for big stuff like movies and games, and even albums, but albums are much bigger... and sometimes all i want is a song or two, and its a pain in the ass to have to d/l the whole album. i've been lookin for a good client to use, mirc is too complicated and i heaven't found anything else so far.

Not the case with me, I still download mp3's from kazaa no probs. Get Kazaa Lite K++.

I use WinMX as it is fast as hell for me...i also have mIRC for files and i sometimes use Soulseek...but i dont like it as much...it aint as fast and there are usually queue's
