What do guys think, i would love to see how this would compare with the 3 subtitute rule, there would be less trouble about some players not getting game time, injuries would not have a problem because subtitutions can be easily made, players would be less tired making the game much more faster and exciting which i think would bring in more goals.

And teams would endlessly waste time. It'll turn in to American Football where you have a "Defensive team" and an "Offensive team". No thanks

Watch some England friendlies from when Sven was still in charge and you'll never need to ask this question again.

It would most definately waste time. Slighetest change in mentality the manager would put on a fresh person to counter it and it would go on and on on and on

You'd get players like Beckham that would come on for a free kick, then go back off again. You could have players in a team without any footballing ability at all, but ridiculously big so they could come on for a corner and cause havoc then go back off again. Wouldn't work at all.

They use this system in leagues up to the age of about 14 in the UK, which is a good idea for youngsters but just ridiculous for pros.

Do they? Even when I was 11/12/13 we'd only be allowed 3 substitues tops :S Maybe its changed.

Yeah in youth football they still use it, the method it is used kinda resembles hockey, no need to alert the ref jut one man off on man on

time doesnt really make much of a difference just add on extra time whats the problem

The risk of having 37 minutes of injury time added on is one we are not willing to take.
