It requires a lot of work, but it's giving me more satisfaction when I play. The new overalls suits perfectly the players and the way the playing.
I think that Football Manager stats converted to FIFA is the ideal database to have the best gameplay flow into FIFA

can you upload the team and players data for the manager game ?
I've been a long time lurker and downloader of mods on this forum, and I've registered today to say yes please! I like the gameplayzer mod very much in theory and it greatly improves the gameplay imo(I also have fidel's ai, and the demo attribdb) but some players aren't correctly represented. I assume this is because of the automatically generated nature of some of the stats.
I tried to do this for a bit in FIFA 12 for my own fun and I believe I got two leagues done. I didn't have a modder's patience
and even then, it got a fun balance out of it - when the players are correctly represented it gives it a nice variety, instead of Fifa's way of rating players.

but no matter what we do fifa's way will always the way it is.
we have been trying multiple ways of getting the realism the game deserves but have never come close.
we must find the way that the game calculates the overall and change it in order to get that good balance.

FIFA is a game stats driven.
A player make his decision by the stats he have.
If he is a winger and have his dribbling stat greater than his crossing stat, he will try to dribble instead to cross.
The combination of this decision for 22 players, plus team prownesses make the FIFA gameflow.
So a radical changes in stat system and how stats is resembled in the game make the gameplay change as well.

But the convert phase would be a big pain in the...
You can export each team separate in txt files with your dedicated statistics but the process would be very slow unless we won't make even a simple script to automatically add them to the needed players

Why does a player like Ramires have high short passing just because his overall is good?
Obviously other mods can affect the realism but yeah, the flaw is down to the game and EA's way -mods and concepts such as this, however, really can atleast make the game enjoyable, for all its flaws

ramires has high passing to help his overall, try this and tell me what you see happen.
lower his short passing to 1 and he will still make xavi like passes everytime.

for my personal database i only did the top 250 overall rated players.

The stats like acceleration, sprint speed, pass, dribbling and etc etc are converted to reach that overall proportionally.
