Right thats it! :kader:

Do you remember, last year before CM4 came out there were artist impressions of the game. they looked nothing like the game. Calm down dear, its only a mock up (H) :crazyboy:

I know they are fakes/mockups be bla bla, I'll just keep my fingers cross that FM5's skins are nothing like those screenies when they start putting the bits and pieces together for real, even though thats probably how they think its going to look like.

MICHAEL WINNER!!!!!! lol

Looks fantastic to me, i was drooling in ICT when i read the news on the community boards, looks fantastic.

The layout looks very very good, they've gone for a really good style. Also like the idea of 30 new player...... things, cant wait.

this will be so much better than CM5

TROD.

God! Manager mind games, that must be good. I didnt read the whole new features stuff, but i think they should add something like press conferences after the games, stuff like that. I mean, enhance the media part of the game a little bit.

The competition will run in 2 stages. The first stage will be for you to send in your logo suggestions. These must be in electronic format, and can be sent either via email to [email protected] or by post to

Logo Competition,
Sports Interactive,
313-314 Upper St.
London. N1 2XQ

There is a strict closing date of Thursday 8th April 2004. No entries will be accepted after this date.

A committee of judges from Sports Interactive, Sega, ESPN Soccernet, GamesRadar.com and the official Football Manager magazine will then sit down and whittle the entries down to 10 finalists.

Those 10 finalists will then be displayed on the websites, and it will be down to you to vote for which one you want to win. This will be done in stages, with logo’s being voted out until there is just one left. It will be strictly one vote per person per stage of the voting process, so use your vote wisely. After all, this is the logo that will be adorning the box of the game you love for many years to come.

The other finalists will win goodie bags from SI including a signed copy of Football Manager (when it is released), a signed copy of Eastside Hockey Manager (when it is released), merchandise and a years subscription to the Official Football Manager magazine

To enter, please read the following first to ensure that your design fits the brief -

Football Manager will be the most realistic football management game ever and the identity needs to clearly reflect this. The logo for Football Manager must be confident, contemporary and stylish - whilst enforcing the grass roots personality of our game....realism, authenticity and depth are key to us and the games that we make.

Our logo needs to work as the name "Football Manager" but must also work on another level as an insignia / badge (with the initials ‘FM’). Finally, consideration should be given to how logo can be developed for new Football Manager titles via adaptation of design, colour-ways, typography etc.

This competition is open to everyone and anyone apart from the actual judges themselves. That means that entries can come from anyone, including professional design agencies, but all logos will be judged on their merit alone. You never know, as well as the prize, this might be a way for you to get noticed by the whole of the design world!

You might want to make a FM 2005 option to fit to your big logo, and I'd say the e-mail is the better option... ;)
