Well I was recently at a Foot Locker in the L.A. area and to my amazement noticed that they now carry soccer jerseys. They had international and club jeseys; Spain, England, France, Argentina. and few others. I think this is pretty cool now I dont have to order online or go them specialty soccer shops.

Yea Ive noticed that too Champs where I live has Arsenal, AC Milan, Spain, etc. But they actually have a ton of Real Madrid jerseys of Beckham. I guess they think hes the only player americans like. I'd personally rather have Zidane from Real Madrid.

Finish Line has some jerseys too now. The sad thing is that they put basketball shorts under the jersey to make it look like a complete soccer outfit.

What are you talking about? American soccer fan? Hah, riiight. I'm just kinda laughing at them for trying to make something good for soccer, but then killing it by putting basketball shorts underneath the shirts.

Now if you saw that in Europe, what would you think? By the way, I was not born here and I did not get into soccer here. I have been a long term soccer fan in Europe, so don't consider me your typical American soccer fan.

There seems to be quite a range of Football shirts now here in Australia.

For Example, they mainly only used to sell ManUnited and Liverpool shirts but now there seems to be quite a variety

the other week i was in a shopping centre and i looked in 4 sport stores and saw Arsenal, Inter, Juve, Madrid, Barcelona, Blackburn, Chelsea, South Korea, USA, Holland, Rangers, Brazil, England, Italy, AC Milan, Leeds shirts.

Im talking about the fact that no matter what happens here in America that shows progress towards the acceptance of soccer here, a so called soccer fan will usually find a reason to piss all over it. In this case, it is basketball shorts underneath the shirts. Just buy the fricken shirt and screw the shorts. sheesh.

If I saw that in Europe, I would think, wow I like that shirt. Im gonna buy it. I wouldnt give a rats ass if there were basketball shorts by them.

Where I'm @, I have never, NEVER seen any soccer shirts at ANY sports store, not even Man Utd. or Real Madrid. And the sad thing is that I don't think anything is going to change anytime soon, because in my state, baseball is king. In fact, when I was in HS, I was one of only a handful of people that owned a replica top of any club or national team, and that wasn't too long ago (1998-2002, if you wanted dates).

That is because Becks is english and Americans wouldn't warm to a non anglo-saxon personality as easily as becks.

that is why in the states and in oz we only hear about the EPL. simple really.

Canadian $100, right? That'd be about $60-70, which is about the price they cost here as well.
